Finley the Cat needs a home

Finley is a treasured family member who cannot join us on our move across the country. He is 4 1/2 - will turn 5 in May. He is black and white, with short hair. He has his claws, which we get vet trimmed every 8 weeks. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He is a smallish cat, I think 11 lbs. He is healthy. He does have a scarred eye (cloudy). We were told at time of adoption (we adopted him at 3 months) that he was found abandoned on the side of the road as a newborn and ended up with an eye infection. The infection cleared up, but he was left with this scarred eye. We've been told that this doesn't seem to affect him in any way. He is an indoor house cat and has been around 1 young child who can't get enough of this cat! He isn't a lap cat, but is super friendly and wants to be near people. He's not a hider and will always be found hanging out with the family. Doesn't want to be held necessarily, but loves a good pet. Hard to say how he would be around other pets as he never has been. A loving kitty that will be surely missed.
